Butterfly boost by bracken bashing
July 2013 : Tyler and Barbara spent a day bashing bracken for the Shropshire Wildlife Trust at the Nant Mawr Nature Reserve. The aim was to give the common dog violet leaves – the favourite food of the caterpillars of the pearl-bordered fritillary – a chance to grow. Click below for the story in the Shropshire Star.
